Cheers 2 U

R.I.P. Stephen "Static" Garrett

Just wanted to take the time to salute someone who was responsible for alot of music that played a big role in our lives as teenagers and that also influenced Me in a big way as a producer and a songwriter.

Static was responsible for the songwriting and production on many of the Timbaland joints throughout the 90's and early 00's, most notably Ginuwine's "Pony", Truth Hurts "Addictive", Aaliyah's "We Need A Resolution", "Try Again", "Rock The Boat", "Are You That Somebody" and countless other classics.

Condolences go out to Static's family and friends from all of us at Affinity.

We have been talking about the death and contributions of Static over at Highbrid Nation. I really am curious as to the reason why such a talented guy died so suddenly.
