TRAILER: TREME (HBO)
I blogged about this when a teaser came up for it a minute ago, but now a full length trailer for HBO's Treme is out and the excitement is building.
Familiar faces all round, not only John Goodman but main roles for The Wire stars Wendell Pierce (Detective Bunk Moreland) and Clarke Peters (Detective Lester Freeman).

TREME
Treme is the new HBO drama based in post-Katrina New Orleans, chronicling the life of the city's rich music culture.
Sounds good huh? Yeah, well David Simon created it and he created The Wire. And you all know how we feel about the greatest thing to ever be commited to a screen don't you?

"HBO AND CHRIS LILLEY" JUST SOUNDS RIGHT, DONT IT?
Soooo, "Summer Heights High" debuts on American screens this weekend, courtesy of the greatest network known to man - HBO. US trailer above.
Not sure if it will translate into another Flight of the Conchords for them, or be the exact vehicle that takes Mr Lilley to the world, and I sure as fuck dont need any more people in the world using theslur term 'ranga', but its rad nonetheless.

THE WIRE IS BACK! WITH ADDED FUEGO!
Tomorrow in the US, HBO premiere the new (and final) season of one of the most compelling and critically adored TV series evar - The Wire. If you don't know, get to know. Even better, HBO and Comcast have apparently had the episode up for a couple of days on their respective On Demand services, and of course is now being severely whored out on any and every avenue known in the internets. Bang.
Adding to this event for us, the Fuego produced Chamillionaire/Kelis joint Not a Criminal is heard proudly blasting through the speakers of an SUV in one of the early B-More street surveillance scenes. Yuuuhhh!
