It honestly sounds like this record has been in the bag for years, but I'm not mad. Just wish it wasn't old mate Jayson who scored a coveted JT/Neptunes collab, imagine this for Big Sean or J Cole...

8TH PLANET DOCUMENTARY FT CHAD HUGO
This footage looks kinda old but its still cool to see The Neptunes studio. I didn't realise Chad Hugo was the type of guy to joke around, but then again I guess he did punch one of our friends in the face. Haha.

RYAN LESLIE NARRATES RYAN LESLIE
This is pretty inspiring and outrageous. I'd love to see Pharrell's creative process in the same way after reading about his random percussion objects.
The video features Drake, Pusha and Swizzy.

SHAKIRA - DID IT AGAIN (VIDEO)
This is my favourite joint from Shakira's She Wolf album. Produced by Neptunes. Written by Pharrell.
Oh and while we're talking Shakira, how smoking did she look on the cover of the September issue of Rolling Stone!

PAPPIN FRIDAY VII
Jessica Burciaga & Suelyn
Volume 7!
What a muthafucka of a week it has been. If you follow me on Twitter you have probably seen my subliminal outbursts of anger and contempt. Its time like the past 5 days that make me hate being involved in the music business, but then all it takes is one good call presenting a great opportunity and the hate is turned back into a cynical kind of love.
Ahh the life of a music producer...

COMMON - UNIVERSAL MIND CONTROL (VIDEO)
I dig the beat, but I think the song sounds dated and predictable vocally. Dope video though, courtesy of Hype Williams.
