Melodyne have just announced Direct Note Access which allows you to manipulate individual notes within polyphonic audio. Auto-Tune taken to the next level.. This means if a musician plays one incorrect note in a chord, an engineer can go inside that audio and correct the individual note to fix the chord. Think about what this can do for sample based producers. Wow.
It will be included in Melodyne 2, coming Autumn 2008.
