Solange is making some really cool and unexpected music for her new album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. The first single from the album is "I Decided" which is a 60's soul inspired joint with a few added electro elements. I really like it. The video features civil rights movement images in the background and is almost an amalgamation of themes from the 60's, 70's & 80's. Quite bizarre.
Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams is in stores August 26.
Although the original of "I Decided" is dope, I think I prefer the Freemasons remix. Check it out below:
