Hangtime returns to Thursday nights in 2010 with a brand new venue - the one and only Eurotrash. Next Thursday!

In addition to the same old Hangers antics, the launch party features Affinity friend and fucking genius Shazam (Bang Gang) for his first 2010 gig in Melbourne towne.

In addition, the massive news is the return of our buddy old pal CWD, who is back home visiting from his London base. CWD is not only a good friend of all of ours, but was also one of Melbourne's most popular party DJ's during his time here and we are psyched to have him back! To coincide with my first UK DJ gig, I have made a lil' mix with all my favourite Southern(some inspired) joints of the last couple of months.

I went to make this a few of weeks ago, but the power on my laptop went crazy and I lost the playlist.

If there was ever a time to roll out and get a dose of what is really happening in Melbourne, this Saturday, the now iconic Favela Rock at Miss Libertines is the sure shot. The sneaky lads at Opulent have managed to wrangle internets-favourites The Cool Kids into a live set whilst they are here for the Laneway Festival! And if that wasn't enough to pedal down the block to check those dudes out.....



....the governor of a good times, all round party-guy and proud Affinityman - ESSCAY - will be previewing his two new insane Fuego-helmed singles LIVE (!) during CWD's last Favela Rock set! OH MY GOD! DO IT!

As for the aforementioned Mr Double-You-Dee, check for a new post in the coming days about our much loved but soon departing friend and DJ....

Mr Double You Dee manages to pull himself away from Guitar Hero for a second and serves up another dish in the Dattebayo series, perfect for a light summer dinner-dance on the patio. Or getting messed up with someone you just met at a sweaty New Years house party. Or taking the dog for a walk. Your choice.
