Hangtime returns to Thursday nights in 2010 with a brand new venue - the one and only Eurotrash. Next Thursday!

In addition to the same old Hangers antics, the launch party features Affinity friend and fucking genius Shazam (Bang Gang) for his first 2010 gig in Melbourne towne.

In addition, the massive news is the return of our buddy old pal CWD, who is back home visiting from his London base. CWD is not only a good friend of all of ours, but was also one of Melbourne's most popular party DJ's during his time here and we are psyched to have him back! .... Well not exactly, but this article by The Guardian gives a great insight into the mind of La Roux's Elly Jackson. I really like this paragraph:

"I'm still going to listen to Gary Glitter's records even though he's a kiddie-fiddler," she says. "Don't let his problems ruin your life. You're not buying their personality, you're buying their music. Of course it's never nice when you're into an artist and you discover they're horrible, and, yes, it would be disappointing if I suddenly found out that Annie Lennox was racist.
