THE RECESSION IS #1

Jeezy manages to top the Billboard charts with his third album The Recession selling 253,337 in its first week at retail.

The revived New Kids On The Block somehow manage to come in at #2 with a surprising 100,883 and Bad Boy's Making The Band artist Donnie Klang does a pitiful 22,484 at #19.

Interestingly, MIA's Kala made its re-entry at #36 fueled off the Apatow-assisted success of her single "Paper Planes".

Kardinal Offishall's Konlive/Interscope album Not 4 Sale is out next week and could possibly have a run at top 5 while Metallica have a late friday release of their new record which will probably take the #1 in its first day of sales.
